Ocean liner with clockwork
10/341
ca. 1925
As early as the 1898 catalogues, Bing offered elaborately manufactured and detailed steamships with working steam engines. Particularly elaborately produced were the "New Warships" built according to original drawings from the Imperial Shipyard in Kiel. In the Bing department "Ships with Steam and Clockwork" pinasses, river steamers, ocean liners, model submarines, automatic firing gunboats, torpedo boats and warships were offered. Around 1920, the new ocean liners, ferries as well as tugs, fireboats and rowing boats were added.
